Description:
On 31st July 2025, students from SAT (Students Against Trafficking) Club of Loreto Convent observed World Day Against Trafficking in Persons by raising awareness about human trafficking. A short PPT presentation on human trafficking to educate and sensitise the students of classes 6 to 12 was showcased, aiming to raise awareness and promote prevention.
Collaborating with MARG NGO, the awareness campaign used the symbol of purple rose representing pain, dignity and hope to highlight the plight of trafficking victims. The initiative aimed to spread awareness, foster empathy, and inspire action against human trafficking.
The students visited the offices of the District Judge, Additional District Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate, President of the Bar Association, Superintendent of Police, DYSP Traffic, Special Juvenile Police Officer, Women Police OC, SI Cyber Crime in their town, presenting purple roses to spread the message.
