Regularity Vacation Withdrawal

  • No pupil may leave the school premises without the permission of the PRINCIPAL.
  • Every pupil attending school is obliged to take part in the choral singing, physical culture classes, games and all school activities.
  • The School has a good library. No books, periodicals, pictures or newspapers, CD's, I Pads should be brought into the school without the permission of the PRINCIPAL.
  • Every pupil is expected to subscribe towards small schools shows and local charities and pay the requisite fees for all school examinations.
  • Pupil are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
  • NO MOBILE PHONES, I-PAD, I-PODS, CAMERAS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL. SUCH GADGETS WILL BE CONFISCATED.
  • No jewellery except small ear-rings should be worn in school.
  • Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal/Vice-Principal.
  • Presents to members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honour, are not allowed.
  • The pupils of Loreto Convent are expected to behave in a lady-like manner on all occasions. They should address their teachers and all members of the staff with respect and politeness. They must show gentleness and courtesy to their companions. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self-restraint should distinguish every pupil of the school.
  • Enrollment in Loreto Convent implies on the part of pupils and parents willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
  • The Principal has the right to suspend the attendance or require the withdrawal of any pupil whose conduct or progress is not satisfactory.
  • No Loreto pupil will be permitted to take tuition outside the School without the permission of the Principal.
  • Parents are earnestly requested to see that their children attend school punctually and that they are sent for punctually at the closing time. They are asked to co-operate with the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking a general interest in the children's progress. They should check the Diary regularly and take note of the teacher's remarks etc.
  • Anyone involved in fights, drugs/alcohol, smoking and stealing etc. will incur automatic expulsion immediately. The same is applicable for those who run away from the school.
  • Pupils are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct, both in school and outside. They ought to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of their dignity.
